Biography
Biography
Melissa Böttinger graduated in Economic Psychology (B.A.) in Stuttgart in 2014. After working for one year in market and social research in Heidelberg and Berlin, she started her physiotherapy studies (B.Sc.) in 2015. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in 2019 and a Master's degree in Therapy Science (M.Sc.) in fall 2020, she took up a position as research associate at the Network Aging Research at Heidelberg University parallel to her physiotherapy work. She worked in different projects in the field of fall prevention and contributed to several research articles. Since October 2021 she is part of the SMART AGE consortium and works in work packages M2 and M4 led by Prof. Dr. Clemens Becker and Prof. Dr. Jürgen M. Bauer.
