Biography

Marios-Evangelos Stefanakis started his studies in Physiotherapy (B.Sc.) in 2015 at the University of Thessaly in Greece and graduated in 2019. In 2021, he completed his Master in New Methods of Physiotherapy Science at the University of West Attica in Athens. As part of his collaboration with Prof. Clemens Becker, he received the first European prize of the ENPHE (European Network of Physiotherapy in Higher Education) conference for the best master's thesis among 156 candidates. From January 2023, he started as a PhD student at the Network Ageing Research (NAR) of the University of Heidelberg, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Clemens Becker. He is a member of the Μ2 SMART AGE teams project ("Wearable Haptics" and Exergaming for Telerehabilitation and Prevention).
