Biography

Katharina Gordt-Oesterwind graduated as a state-certified physiotherapist in 2010. She then studied physiotherapy (B.Sc.) at Philipps University Marburg and Fulda University of Applied Sciences from 2010 to 2013 and completed her master's degree in biomechanics-motor movement analysis at Justus Liebig University Gießen in 2016. Subsequently, she completed her PhD on "Balance abilities in older people: Development and validation of a target group specific, everyday life assessment paradigm for young seniors" at the Network Aging Research at Heidelberg University. After successfully completing her doctorate in 2020, Katharina Gordt-Oesterwind worked as a project coordinator in the project "PROfit" – Prevention, Orientation, Training ", which was funded by the Techniker Krankenkasse. Sice march 2021 she is working in smart age as a research assistant in the area of "exergaming".
