Biography

Elena Litz graduated with a master’s degree in Psychology from Heidelberg University in 2018. As a psychological assistant at Kliniken Schmieder Heidelberg and a student assistant at Bethanien Hospital Heidelberg she gained experience in conducting computer-based training sessions for neuropsychological rehabilitation and fall prevention. In her master thesis she worked on a validation of a motor-cognitive assessment for a stepping exergame in older adults. After graduation, as a research assistant at Bethanien Hospital Heidelberg she focused on exergaming and motor-cognitive assessments. She is currently working on her dissertation „Motor-cognitive exergame training in older adults: performance assessment using in-game data stream.” Since August 2021 she is part of SMART-AGE team (work package M2 led by Prof. Dr. Clemens Becker)
